The films are a part of a series of multimedia publications made by the Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts called “Odkrywanie Tradycji Mazowsza” (Discovering the Tradition of the Mazovia Region). Each item is a monograph on a certain issue associated with traditional culture and the cultural heritage of Poland. “Skrzypce na Mazowszu” and “Śpiew na Mazowszu” are documentary films that allow the viewers to discover singers and musicians from Polish villages. Perhaps some might be surprised that the artists are people in a very young age. It’s worth seeing what they have to say about their greatest passion.
